When are you open?
We run Wednesday to Saturday. Guests meet at 3:45 pm with the experience starting at 4:00 pm sharp, wrapping up by approximately 10:00 pm. Groups of 35 or more can enquire about tailored time slots on other days.
Where is the venue?
Mystery Manor Experience is hosted at Brooklyn Wine & Tapas Bar, Ground Floor, Lot 5/190 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227.
Is there parking at the venue?
Street parking is available in the surrounding area. We recommend carpooling where possible, it makes arrival smoother for your group and keeps the streets clear for everyone.
How many people do I need?
A minimum of 12 guests must be paid for regardless of actual attendance. Each competing group needs at least 4 players. There is no upper limit, larger groups simply form multiple competing teams.
Can we book for a large group?
Absolutely. Groups of 35 or more can request tailored time slots and days outside our standard Wednesday to Saturday schedule. Get in touch and we'll work something out.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Mystery Manor Experience is private bookings only, we don't take walk-ins. Dates fill quickly, especially for weekends and holiday periods. Enquire early to secure your preferred date.
How does the deposit and payment work?
A deposit of $1,014 (50% of the minimum booking cost) is required to secure your date. This deposit is fully refundable if you cancel up to 2 weeks before your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
Are drinks included?
No drinks are included in any dining package. The bar is open from arrival through to the end of the night, guests can order by the glass or set up a tab for the group. Dining is served from 6:00 pm after the verdict is called, and the bar stays open through dinner and beyond.
What is the charter option?
Charter is an optional paid add-on. Nominate your own pickup and drop-off location within the Gold Coast and travel to the venue in style. Charter guests are returned to their nominated address at approximately 7–8 pm, after dining wraps up. Non-charter guests arrive independently by 3:45 pm, ready for the 4:00 pm start, and are welcome to stay at the bar after dining.
What should I wear?
Dress however you like. Some guests go all out with a costume, others come as they are, both are equally welcome. The only rule is that attire is tasteful and respectful. There is no dress code beyond that.
Is it suitable for all ages?
Mystery Manor Experience is designed for adults and older teenagers. The bar is available to guests of legal drinking age. The puzzle rooms are suitable for anyone who enjoys a challenge.
